Munduss Legal

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 19, 2026

Munduss Legal uses the information you send through munduss.com for one purpose: to answer your inquiry and assess whether we can assist you. We do not build marketing lists, we do not send newsletters, and we do not sell, rent or share your information for commercial purposes. This policy is governed by Costa Rican Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data and its regulations.

Who is responsible

Munduss Legal, the professional practice of José David Garro Castro, attorney at law and notary public. Office: La Garita, Tamarindo, Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, Oficentro Global Tribu, office 4. Contact for privacy matters: da***@*****ss.com.

What we receive and why

  • What you send us. Your name, email address and message when you use the contact form, and your phone number, profile name and messages if you write to us on WhatsApp. Your email address or phone number is necessary because without it we cannot reply; everything else is optional. We use this information only to respond to you and, if you decide to engage us, to open your file.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider records IP address, browser type, pages visited and date and time of access in server logs, for the security and operation of the site.
  • Cookies and measurement. The site uses cookies necessary for it to function, to remember your language and to protect forms against spam. We also use Google Analytics to understand in aggregate how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device type and clicks on our contact links. We do not send Google your name, email or the content of your messages. You can prevent this measurement with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your consent

By submitting the contact form or writing to us, you consent to the use of your information for the purpose described above. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to da***@*****ss.com, and we will delete your inquiry.

Contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship

Sending a message through this site does not make you a client of the firm. Please do not send confidential or sensitive documents until we have confirmed in writing that we can act for you. Information received from prospective clients is nonetheless treated with professional discretion.

Service providers

Your information is handled by the firm and by the providers that make the site and our communications work: Hostinger (website hosting and email), CleanTalk (spam protection for forms), Google (Analytics, aggregate measurement only) and Meta (WhatsApp, when you choose to write to us there). Some of them process data outside Costa Rica. We disclose information to authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted once they are no longer needed to respond to you, and in any case within twelve months. Information that becomes part of a client file is kept for the periods required by the professional and legal rules that apply to attorneys and notaries in Costa Rica, and never beyond the limits set by law.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, its correction or its deletion, and you may withdraw your consent, by writing to da***@*****ss.com. We will respond within five business days, as the regulations require. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may file a complaint with the Costa Rican data protection agency (Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes, PRODHAB).

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to this site. If a security incident affects your information, we will inform you within five business days of what happened, which data was involved and the corrective measures taken. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is another reason not to send sensitive documents through a web form.

Minors

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version and its effective date will always be published on this page.
